Job summary

Wanta Thome is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to drive case momentum in a plaintiff-side employment practice. You will draft pleadings, discovery, and case-development work, while keeping clients informed and spotting issues before delays.

Requires 2+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, a paralegal certificate or associate degree, and strong writing. We offer remote, hybrid, or in-office work in the United States with competitive pay, benefits, and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of paralegal experience in litigation.
• Paralegal certificate or associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft complaints, routine motions, discovery requests and responses, and mediation statements with light attorney revision.
• Build the strategic core of each file: fact chronologies, deposition summaries, document indexes, and witness profiles.
• Research procedural questions and deliver short, usable summaries with a recommendation.
• Lead client fact-gathering calls and handle routine client questions with empathy and clear boundaries.
• Monitor deadlines and case status across multiple matters; escalate as needed.
• Maintain case status in internal systems for team visibility.
