Job summary

D3 Legal Search, LLC is actively seeking a Litigation Paralegal for its prominent national defense practice in downtown Los Angeles, CA. The role requires 4+ years of focused experience in product liability and class action cases, trial preparation, and strong e-discovery skills.

Responsibilities include managing case materials, drafting pleadings, coordinating with witnesses, and assisting during trials. A ABA-approved paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree is required; travel and extended

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant litigation experience, including product liability and class action defense.
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.
• Proficiency with legal software and e-discovery tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work extended hours during trial periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of case management and trial preparation, including document organization, witness preparation, and exhibit management.
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and other legal documents, including motions and subpoenas.
• Organize large volumes of documents and assist with e-discovery processes.
• Coordinate with expert witnesses, clients, and vendors, and opposing counsel during case prep and trial.
• Manage exhibits, logistics, and technology in the courtroom during trial.
• Perform legal research, draft case summaries, and maintain case databases.
• Provide post-trial assistance, including settlement documentation and final materials.
