The Injury Law Guides seeks an experienced litigation paralegal in San Antonio to support trial teams on personal injury cases from petition through trial. This role emphasizes handling discovery, subpoenas, e-filing, and meticulous case management in a small, dedicated firm.

You will work closely with co-counsel, experts, and clients, ensuring deadlines are met and records are accurate. A paralegal certificate or degree and 3+ years PI experience on the plaintiff's side are preferred; bilingual

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years as a paralegal in personal injury litigation on the plaintiff's side.
• Working knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas e‑filing.
• Comfortable drafting first drafts of discovery and motions with limited hand-holding.
• Strong writing and the organizational discipline to run deadlines without being chased.
• Understanding of the file and ability to spot inconsistencies in records/evidence.

Aufgaben

• Drafting and responding to written discovery; tracking discovery deadlines.
• Issuing subpoenas and records requests; locate providers and custodians.
• E-filing in Texas state courts and managing the docket and deadlines.
• Trial support, including exhibits, witness lists, and notebooks.
• Coordinate with co-counsel, experts, providers, and clients.
• Lien identification and resolution (hospital/ERISA/Medicare).
• Maintain clean Filevine files so any team member can understand status.
