Job summary

GLP Attorneys, Washington’s largest personal injury firm, seeks a Litigation Paralegal based in Burlington or Bellingham. You will support Trial Teams and the Trial Mentoring Program, handling litigation, discovery, and trial prep for serious personal injury matters.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and client-focused, with at least two years of plaintiffs’ PI experience and a paralegal credential or bachelor’s degree. Join a team that values integrity, growth, and community impact.

Qualifications

• Litigation experience in personal injury a must.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client service skills.
• Ability to collaborate across legal teams and staff.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook for document drafting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Trial Teams and support the Trial Mentoring Program.
• Manage cases through litigation and trial with attorneys and paralegals.
• Maintain client relationships with providers and parties involved.
• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and correspondence for review.
• Draft motions and perform legal research and memoranda where needed.
• Organize case files, pleadings, discovery, and trial materials.
• Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
• Retain and coordinate expert witnesses and assist with scheduling.
• Review medical records and coordinate with experts as needed.
• Prioritize deadlines and maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting.
• Exercise independent judgment and support case strategy.
