Job summary

Lewis Brisbois in Nashville, TN is seeking a paralegal with 3+ years of litigation experience to support a team of at least four attorneys. Responsibilities include calendaring, document management, and preparing materials for discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate. A certificate may be required based on region, state, or client requirements.
• At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Strong Excel skills required
• Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
• This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours

Responsibilities

• Calendaring for a minimum of four attorneys.
• Document management including review, creation, and organization.
• Compiling information for discovery responses, interrogatories, pleadings, motions, depositions, and trial preparation.
