Job summary

UB Greensfelder is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to support our Business Litigation team in St. Louis. You will assist attorneys with financial services matters, including FINRA and SEC issues, and manage case material, documents, and discovery.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of litigation experience, an associate degree or paralegal certificate, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Experience with e-discovery and trial presentation software is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Paralegal Certificate plus three to five years’ litigation experience.
• Experience as a financial services paralegal is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with litigation software including e-discovery platforms.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary/lead paralegal on business litigation matters.
• Assist with fact investigation, document collection, review, and production.
• Prepare case summaries, reports, and filings for courts/agencies.
• Organize deposition, motion, hearing, and trial materials with exhibits.
• Coordinate logistics for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Attend proceedings with attorneys and utilize trial presentation software.
• Conduct factual and legal research and interview clients/witnesses.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, and related documents.
• Track deadlines, maintain calendars, and ensure compliance with rules.
• Communicate with clients and maintain confidentiality.
• Create and search case databases and production logs.
• Support trial prep and post-case file management.
