The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple matters, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, coordinating court filings, maintaining calendars, organizing files, and communicating

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of paralegal experience, preferably in litigation.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management.
• Experience with pleadings, discovery, court filings, and deadlines.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with management of litigation matters from filing to resolution.
• Draft, format, proofread pleadings, motions, discovery, and notices under attorney direction.
• Coordinate court filings, service of process, and procedural requirements.
• Maintain litigation calendars and track deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other dates.
• Organize electronic and physical case files, exhibits, and other materials.
• Prepare exhibits and materials for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and process servers.
• Monitor matters and follow up on missing information and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate matter and timekeeping records in the practice-management system.
