Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred; paralegal certification considered.
• Certified Paralegal a plus; extensive litigation support experience.
• Minimum 10 years as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm with complex litigation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists attorneys in all stages of litigation from onset through post-trial
• Oversees organization and use of documents and case materials
• Assists with discovery, depositions, and discovery responses
• Oversees document reviews and productions; tracks review progress
• Performs analytical tasks, prepares witness interview memoranda and summarizes documents
• Assists with basic legal research using Westlaw and Lexis
• Supports law and motion practice; coordinates filings and service of papers
• Drafts pleadings, motions, notices, and other court filings
• Ensures compliance with procedural rules and do cite-checking
• Assists with trial preparations, builds trial notebooks, coordinates schedules
• Prepares post-trial filings and organize case for appeal if needed
• Maintains daily timekeeping records
• Performs additional duties as assigned
