Ideal candidates hold 2–5 years of paralegal experience with a litigation background, an ABA-approved associate degree or paralegal certificate, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Paralegal Studies from ABA-approved program or Paralegal Certificate ABA-approved.
• 2-5 years of paralegal experience with a litigation background.
• Experience with investigations, case management, and litigation deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-claim and litigation investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments.
• Provide litigation support, including calendaring hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and coordinating logistics.
• Monitor legal department mailboxes for incoming litigation, claims, compliance matters, and other legal inquiries.
• Assist attorneys with risk assessment assignments, monthly reports, and professional correspondence.
• Maintain organized and accurate litigation files, claims documentation, and legal records.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding litigation and claims matters.
• Process invoices and requisitions and provide general administrative support to the legal department.
• Handle sensitive and confidential legal information.
