Overview

Seeking a mid-level litigation paralegal with 3-7 years of experience within a large firm or specialized litigation boutiques, handling complex litigation, investigations, and arbitration matters.

Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of litigation paralegal experience in an Amlaw 100 firm or specialized litigation/dispute resolution firm.
  • Expertise in all litigation stages, including e-discovery tools, e-filing, and trial preparation.
  • Experience with trial or arbitration proceedings preferred.
  • Skills: Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
  • Effective multitasking and ownership of tasks with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of cite-checking, Bluebook rules, and California Style Manual (preferred).
  • Other: Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and commit to overtime or travel as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of litigation case management, including document organization, case calendaring, discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and senior paralegals; oversee junior paralegals or support staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with courts, government entities, expert witnesses, vendors, and other law firms.
  • Draft, review, and analyze legal documents; conduct legal research under attorney supervision.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional discretion regarding sensitive firm and client information.
  • Continuously develop skills to adapt to changes in the legal profession.
