Overview

• This Paralegal - Litigation position is with Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, an AmLaw 100 firm, located in their Washington D.C. office.
• The role operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three days in-office and allowing two days of remote work.
• Provide comprehensive litigation support for medium to large matters, including advanced case management, calendaring, and coordinating court filings.
• Conduct advanced fact research using online databases, manage specialized document collections, and draft initial discovery requests, responses, and pleadings.
• Assist with all phases of mediation, arbitration, or trial proceedings, including preparing exhibit and witness lists, managing trial exhibits, and providing on-site support.
• Oversee and collaborate with legal secretaries, administrative staff, and junior paralegals or document clerks on client-related tasks and during trial preparation.
• Requires 5+ years of paralegal experience; a Bachelor's degree and completion of a paralegal program are preferred.
• Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis), eDiscovery platforms (specifically Relativity), and trial support software (e.g., Trial Director or OnCue).
• Demonstrate exceptional time and task management abilities, strong attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Availability for overtime is required to meet deadlines and support trial schedules.
• The salary range for this position in Washington D.C. is $76,000 to $126,000 annually, with actual pay adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors.
