What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Manage California Wage and Hour matters, including intake, investigations, and resolution
  • Coordinate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to gather necessary documents for litigation
  • Organize and maintain internal litigation files, discovery requests, and update case status in Legal Tracker
  • Support attorneys in responding to government agency inquiries and EEOC charges of discrimination
  • Monitor changes in California labor law and advise the legal team on implications
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Completion of an ABA-approved paralegal program
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in employment law or labor litigation
  • Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and related federal statutes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
