Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Plaintiff's personal injury experience is a plus. In this role, you will provide support to our litigation team and assist in all phases of the litigation process. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and has the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Draft, file and serve case-specific documents, including pleadings, all forms of discovery (including reviewing, analyzing and compiling document productions), motions, pre-trial and trial documents, as well as petitions for minor's compromise
• Preparation of cases for either mediation and/or trial
• Communicate with clients and witnesses
• Conduct legal research and investigation
• Provide general administrative support
• Maintain an organized electronic file

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role is required
• Familiarity with civil procedure, including legal terminology and the court system
• Familiarity with medical record review is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with document management experience
• Excellent research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Adobe, and case management software (CasePeer experience is a plus)
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
