Job summary

Law Offices of James Scott Farrin in Raleigh, NC seeks a sharp litigation paralegal to join our high-performance team. You will work with 2-3 litigation attorneys, helping build cases, gather evidence, review records, and communicate with clients, experts, and staff.

No two days are the same: you’ll schedule depositions, coordinate mediations, prepare trial materials, and attend proceedings. This role rewards critical thinking, problem solving, and a genuine drive to seek justice for injured

Qualifications

• 5+ years personal injury litigation paralegal experience.
• Must reside within driving distance of Raleigh NC.
• Able to attend trials, including some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Support 2-3 litigation attorneys in building cases, gathering evidence, and client communication.
• Review records, liaise with experts, schedule depositions/mediations.
• Prepare for and attend trials and hearings, coordinating with the team.
• Think critically and investigate to help uncover the truth in cases.

What the day looks like:

No two days are the same. You’ll work closely with 2-3 of our litigation attorneys, helping build our litigation cases, as you gather evidence, review records, communicate with clients, liaise with experts, schedule depositions/mediations, prepare for and attend trials, and more.

This is more than taking orders. Your job is to think critically and investigate to help uncover the truth.
