Overview

Talis Group’s company client is a large Litigation Law firm located in the Indianapolis area. They want to hire a Paralegal to support cases in Civil Defense Litigation, such as trucking accident litigation, premises liability, workers compensation defense and similar. Full benefits package, paid time off, and profit sharing.

This position is full time, 100% remote, but does require you live in commutable distance for occasional in person meetings. Yearly raises, discretionary bonuses and paid time offered along with health insurance, disability, 401k and more.

Responsibilities
  • Medical records requests and summarization.
  • Electronic filings in federal and state courts.
  • Occasional legal facts and basic legal research.
  • Assist attorneys with trial preparation, document preparation and scheduling.
Qualifications
  • MS Office, Outlook, SharePoint, and Adobe software experience desired.
  • At least 2-5 years of paralegal support in civil defense litigation.
  • Previous experience with efiling, medical records requests or record summaries desired.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, willingness to accept direction, follow procedures and work within a team are required.
