Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Draft legal documents including complaints, answers, motions, petitions, and responses, citing all relevant case law and statutes.
  • Process, review, and summarize depositions, records, and expert reports.
  • Conduct research and prepare legal memorandums on various issues concerning policies, regulations, codes, and laws.
  • Scheduling and meeting coordination.
  • Prepare notices for hearings and depositions along with preparation of trial/deposition binders.
  • Facilitate the workflow, communications, and scheduling in day-to-day operations.
  • Organize files and paperwork.
  • Contact opposing counsel, judge’s offices, and clients using telephone, email, and letters in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Evaluate and identify priorities of numerous tasks and complete them in a timely manner with high attention to detail.
  • Administer main reception as needed and manage client expectations.
  • Work within a document management system to organize and maintain company files, matters, and tasks.
  • Catalogue paperwork, generate spreadsheets, and scan and copy records.
