Overview

Well respected, established plaintiffs' law firm is seeking a Trial Paralegal to join its team to work complex litigation matters primarily in products liability.

Candidates must have previous state or federal court experience. Some cases are single plaintiff, but there are also multi-plaintiff, MDL, and class actions. Candidate will be trained by long-term Trial Paralegal and will eventually be the sole Paralegal supporting trials. Some trials are out of town so the candidate must be able to travel for weeks at a time to support trials.

Responsibilities

• Support trials and complex litigation matters, primarily in products liability.
• Assist in single plaintiff cases as well as multi-plaintiff, MDL, and class actions.
• Under the guidance of a long-term Trial Paralegal, develop towards becoming the sole Paralegal supporting trials.
• Travel for extended periods to support out-of-town trials as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous state or federal court experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range $60-70k depending on depth and years of experience plus lucrative discretionary annual bonuses.
• 401k after 90 days with a 3% match.
• Firm contributes $4200 to employee's HSA.
• Employee-only medical insurance cost only $15/month.
• This is an in-office position.
