Job summary

The Bachrach Group in Houston seeks an experienced Mass Torts Litigation Paralegal to support a busy partner handling complex defective medical device matters. The role offers a leadership track within a high-volume litigation team, helping drive case strategy, workflows, and team development.

You will supervise junior paralegals, improve systems, coordinate docketing, monitor court filings, and assist with trial preparation and strategy. Hybrid schedule with four days in office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mass tort, product liability, or complex plaintiff-side litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong docketing and case-management experience in high-volume environments.
• Demonstrated leadership, including mentoring or supervising staff.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Manage and coordinate a docket of mass tort litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Oversee day-to-day case management activities and ensure critical deadlines are met.
• Supervise and mentor junior paralegals and support staff, providing guidance and training.
• Develop, implement, and improve systems, processes, and workflows to enhance team efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with attorneys to support litigation strategy and trial preparation.
• Maintain organized case files, monitor court filings, and manage litigation calendars.
• Serve as a central point of coordination for a fast-paced litigation practice, ensuring continuity when attorneys are traveling or in trial.

This role offers the opportunity to take on a leadership position within a high-volume litigation team while helping drive case strategy, workflow management, and team development.
