Job summary

Wilson Elser in Dallas is seeking a litigation paralegal to support trial teams across complex cases. This is a hands-on role offering a flexible, hybrid work arrangement and exposure to a national law firm with 1,400+ attorneys.

You will manage document productions, draft subpoenas, review transcripts, and maintain organized case files while collaborating with attorneys and staff. 4+ years of experience and a paralegal certificate are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • 4+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including trial preparation and attendance.
  • Insurance defense and/or construction defect experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to integrate into a team-oriented environment with ownership in your own docket of cases.
  • Experience with drafting subpoenas and creating logs for records received.

  • Contact outside sources to retrieve information and review and analyze same.
  • Search and retrieve information from court-related databases as well as other online sources for case information.
  • Prepare written discovery requests and objections.
  • Review, analyze and organize document productions by opposing parties and co-defendants in large multi-party cases.
  • Summarize transcripts and organize key documents.
  • Prepare and organize materials needed for expert witness review.
  • Manage documents and maintain organized case files.
