Job summary

Johnson Law Group, a client-focused plaintiffs’ law firm, seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Nashville office supporting the Personal Injury division. This role requires hands-on litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from intake through trial.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates attorney needs, and provides a high level of client service. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury or auto accident cases.
• Associate or bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full litigation docket for personal injury auto accident cases from filing to resolution.
• Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, discovery, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, and settlement documents.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical records, reports, and other case documents.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, expert witnesses, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
• Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and witness files for hearings and trials.
• Track court deadlines and ensure compliance with Tennessee civil procedure and local rules.
• Maintain detailed case files in the firm’s case management system.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our Nashville office, supporting our Personal Injury division. This is a hands-on role that requires significant litigation experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage cases from intake through trial. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates attorney needs, and provides a high level of client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a full litigation docket of personal injury auto accident cases, from filing through resolution.
• Draft, review, and finalize pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, subpoenas, affidavits, and settlement documents.
• Organize, review, and summarize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
• Coordinate and communicate with clients, expert witnesses, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Conduct legal and factual research in support of case strategy.
• Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and witness files for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Track court deadlines and ensure compliance with Tennessee civil procedure and local rules.
• Maintain detailed and organized case files in the firm’s case management system.
• Support attorneys with trial preparation, including attending trial as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury, preferably auto accident cases.
• Strong knowledge of Tennessee civil procedure and e-filing systems.
• Exceptional drafting, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
• Ability to prioritize, work independently, and manage multiple deadlines.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Work Hours
This is a full-time, in-person position based in our Nashville, TN office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
