Ascendion in Charleston/Greenville, SC seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys through all phases of litigation. Primary duties include case preparation, discovery, motions, settlement, and trial prep, plus drafting pleadings and discovery requests. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple deadlines across cases. E-filing across courts is required.

Qualifications

• 1-5+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, settlement, and trial preparation.
• Draft and prepare pleadings, correspondence, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents for attorney review.
• E-file documents in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with applicable court rules and filing deadlines.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
