Job summary

MG+M The Law Firm seeks a Regional Office Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for its New York City and Basking Ridge, New Jersey offices. The role is based in NYC with on-site presence and periodic travel to NJ.

The successful candidate will bring substantial litigation experience and a strong understanding of litigation workflow, court procedures, and law firm operations, partnering with attorneys and staff to optimize performance.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience within a litigation-focused law firm or comparable legal services environment.
Prior hands-on litigation experience required; experience as regional office manager or similar role strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court systems, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, docketing, and attorney support workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day litigation support operations for NYC and NJ offices.
Allocate resources, prioritize work, and drive operational efficiency in litigation workflow.
Partner with attorneys and support staff to identify workflow challenges and implement improvements.
Monitor staffing capacity, workloads, and service levels; ensure accountability.
Supervise, coach, and develop legal administrative staff and paralegals.
Oversee personnel administration, including PTO, timecards, payroll exceptions, and reviews.
Liaise with leadership to advance operational objectives and firm initiatives.
