Job summary

BCG Attorney Search seeks a Litigation Attorney in New Orleans, LA to manage personal injury cases from filing through resolution, including trial. You will develop litigation strategies, conduct discovery, and negotiate settlements, primarily handling auto, trucking collisions, premises liability, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death.

The role requires a JD and active Louisiana bar status with strong advocacy and the ability to travel for proceedings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active admission to practice law in Louisiana state courts.
• Meaningful litigation experience in personal injury or similar fields.
• Strong knowledge of Louisiana civil procedure and court practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of litigated personal injury cases from filing to resolution.
• Develop and execute individualized litigation strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Take and defend depositions of various parties and experts.
• Prepare for and represent clients in mediations and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial, including developing case themes and trial materials.
• Serve as lead or second-chair trial counsel.
• Communicate effectively with clients and litigation support teams.
