Job summary

R23 Law in Los Angeles seeks a litigator to run consumer protection cases under statutes such as FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, and California statutes. You will directly negotiate settlements with defense counsel at large firms and handle depositions, motions, and court appearances with a full litigation support team.

You must be admitted to the California bar and have 2–8 years of civil litigation experience. This role offers hybrid/remote work in California with court appearances as needed and a base

Qualifications

• Active California bar admission is required.
• 2–8 years of civil litigation experience from any background.
• Ability to run a case and close a settlement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity, thoroughness, and rigor in research and drafting.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of consumer actions and pursue settlements.
• Negotiate settlements directly with defense counsel at large firms.
• Take and defend depositions, handle law-and-motion, and appear in state and federal court.
• Talk to clients about real harms and recoveries and deliver money to them.
• Work with a full support team of litigation specialists and paralegals.
