Jobot, a SoCal civil law firm in Riverside, seeks a Sr. Litigation Attorney to represent clients in civil defense matters, from depositions to trials.

Based in downtown Riverside with offices in Riverside and Glendale, the firm serves Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties. The ideal candidate has a JD, 8+ years of experience, active State Bar membership, and strong negotiation, advocacy, and research skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 8 years of experience for senior level positions.
• Active member of the State Bar in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of civil defense litigation and related practices.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong advocacy skills in the courtroom.
• Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of Civil Defense Litigation (Businesses, Public Entities and Individuals)
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Handle depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Develop and implement defense strategies, negotiate settlements, and make court appearances.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a comprehensive defense strategy.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and advice on legal matters.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.

Based in the downtown Riverside area we are a reputable Law firm that focuses our practice on the representation of public entities, corporations, and insured individuals in general liability, common carrier litigation, employment litigation, and more! Position: Sr. Litigation Attorney

Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 per year
