Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least two years of litigation experience after graduating from an ABA accredited law school.
• Candidates must also be admitted to practice law in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present petitions to establish paternity and child support and appear on and defend applications for modification of orders.
• Prepare and present enforcement matters, file and respond to motions, file objections and rebuttals, conduct discovery, including document production and inspection, prepare memorandum of law, interview clients and witnesses, negotiate settlements, and conduct hearings and trials.
• Attend to night and weekend court assignments in the juvenile delinquency unit and may be required to work evenings and weekends.
