Qualifications

• At least two years of litigation experience after graduating from an ABA accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present petitions to establish paternity and child support and defend modification applications.
• Prepare and present enforcement matters, file and respond to motions, file objections and rebuttals.
• Conduct discovery, including document production and inspection, and interview clients and witnesses.
• Negotiate settlements and conduct hearings and trials before support magistrates and Family Court judges.
• Participate in citywide rotation of night and weekend court assignments in the juvenile delinquency unit and may work evenings and weekends.
