Litigation Attorney, General Liability Defense | Miami, FL | $125,000 to $200,000 | General Liability Defense
Detective work, mostly. That's what general liability defense becomes when it's done well.
Who was really responsible for the wet floor? Did the security company follow its own post orders? Was the product altered after it left the factory? The answers decide most general liability cases, and they're found by lawyers who go looking: in the maintenance logs, the CCTV, the incident reports and the questions nobody else thought to ask at deposition.
I'm Ryan Jaiswal at Distinct Recruitment. I'm hiring a general liability defense attorney in Miami on behalf of a client firm, for someone who enjoys that investigative side of the job and wants the authority to act on what they find.
The salary range is deliberately broad. An experienced attorney or counsel can expect to take on the most complex claims, lead trial teams, mentor associates and build carrier relationships of their own, and to be paid in line with that.
General liability files are only as interesting as the freedom you're given on them. If your role has become mostly reporting and waiting for instructions, this is a chance to do the investigative, strategic work that made the practice appealing to begin with. There's also a clear route toward partnership for attorneys who build a following.
