Job description

We are a growing statewide eminent domain law firm (headquartered in Atlanta).

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is currently licensed to practice law in Georgia.
  • Has at least 3-5+ years of experience in GA (preferred practice areas: Eminent Domain, Civil Litigation, or related)
  • Has a demonstrated ability to litigate
  • Has a demonstrated interest and knowledge in eminent domain law, or is excited to learn.
  • Is a polished and skilled communicator with business, commercial and residential property owners.
  • Is a self-starter, is able to prioritize the workload, and has a strong work ethic.

What The Day Looks Like:

  • Evaluating and analyzing eminent domain cases
  • Reading and analyzing offers, appraisals, and project plans related to eminent domain cases and projects
  • Appearing in court and attending mediations as needed
  • Negotiating and resolving eminent domain cases mostly after litigation has been filed
  • Supervising a paralegal and directing their work
  • Speaking to clients about their cases
  • Speaking to prospective new clients and advising them on the benefits of representation

This position will be based out of anywhere in Georgia but may require travel throughout the state.We promote a flexible work schedule with the ability to work remotely when appropriate.
