Job summary

gpac is representing a mid-sized education law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney in California to handle complex civil litigation from initiation to resolution, including arbitration, mediation, or trial.

The ideal candidate will bring strong case management, leadership, and superb writing and research skills, with flexibility to cover a broad range of matters for public entities. Hybrid schedule with collaborative training and resources is offered.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of litigation experience.
• Experience handling complex civil litigation from initiation to resolution, including arbitration, mediation, or trial.
• Strong case management skills, with the initiative to lead matters and move them forward.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
• Excellent leadership, writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on a broad range of matters for public entities.
• Education law or public entity experience.
• Civil rights, special education, insurance defense, or personal injury defense experience is preferred.
