Job summary

Hall Prangle LLC in Reno seeks an associate with at least 7 years of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or healthcare law. You will join small teams led by seasoned trial attorneys to provide our clients with top‑tier defense from pre‑trial to trial.

Ideal candidates are skilled, hard‑working, and personable, with a Juris Doctor and active Nevada bar membership. Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Nevada.
• At least 7 years of litigation experience, preferably defending medical malpractice or healthcare law.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills; outstanding oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and representation to the firm’s clients from pre-trial through trial.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, written discovery, and agreements.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, trials, and client meetings.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Collaborate with senior associates and partners on case strategy.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.

About the Role

Hall Prangle is seeking to hire a full‑time associate in its Reno office who has at least 7 years as a practicing litigator, ideally with experience in medical malpractice or healthcare law. Attorneys will work with small teams of other attorneys and paralegals, led by seasoned trial attorneys with proven track records, all working collaboratively to efficiently provide our clients with the best possible results. The right candidate will be skilled and hard‑working as well as pleasant and personable.
