Job summary

Orion Placement in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a seasoned litigation attorney to lead complex matters from strategy through trial, with support across practice groups to deliver premier client service.

You will manage discovery, depositions, hearings, and settlements, cultivating strong client relationships while identifying business development opportunities. Nebraska Bar licensure is required, and a hybrid schedule in a city with high quality of life is offered.

Qualifications

Location:

Hybrid in Omaha, Nebraska — a flexible schedule with on-site presence as your foundation for building relationships with colleagues and clients. This role requires Nebraska Bar licensure or clear eligibility to obtain it. No relocation assistance is available.

• Advise clients on regulatory and compliance matters connected to ongoing litigation

• Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated, high-quality legal services

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience in private practice (required)


• In-depth knowledge of insurance defense and/or complex civil litigation, from case inception through trial or settlement


• Active Nebraska Bar license, or eligibility and commitment to obtain licensure


• Strong written and oral advocacy skills — able to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients and in court


• Client-focused mindset with a track record of responsiveness and service quality


• Ability to work independently on cases while contributing effectively to a collaborative team
