Job summary

Lexitas Legal Talent Solutions is supporting a prominent national plaintiff’s law firm seeking an experienced litigation associate to join its busy New Haven team, offering strong growth opportunities and a trial‑focused environment.

You will manage a docket from filing through resolution, draft pleadings and motions, conduct research, and take depositions. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in personal injury, solid writing and research skills, and trial experience is a plus.

The firm offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, starting at 100k+ and up depending on experience. This position is on-site in New Haven, CT.

• Manage a docket of litigation matters from filing through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Take and defend depositions, including fact witnesses and experts
• Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to drive case development

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years in a personal injury practice on either the plaintiff or defense side. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong writing and research skills. Experience preparing for and participating in trials is strongly preferred.
