Job summary

Jimmy Jazz in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our personal injury team. This exempt position offers a starting salary negotiable based on experience, with potential commissions and/or bonuses and excellent benefits.

You will work closely with the Managing Partner as a right‑hand partner, mentor paralegals and support staff, and handle a range of personal injury cases with strong attention to detail and trial readiness.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted and licensed to practice law in Virginia
• Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar
• 3–5 years of prior litigation experience, specifically in personal injury matters
• Highly developed negotiation, communication, and trial advocacy skills
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including medical records, bills, and injury assessment
• In-depth understanding of Virginia automobile insurance coverages and claims processes
• Experience with case management software (Neos preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• Proven ability to mentor and supervise paralegals and support staff

Responsibilities
