Litigation Attorney (Defamation / First Amendment)
A highly regarded, top-tier litigation boutique with a national reputation for handling high-stakes defamation, First Amendment, and complex commercial disputes is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its team. The firm is widely known for representing major corporations, executives, and high-profile individuals in reputation-critical, headline-making litigation across the country.
They are looking for candidates in the Class of 2021–2024 with strong litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in defamation and First Amendment work, ideally with a trial-focused mindset.
Attorneys licensed in other states are welcome to apply — the firm is open to waiving candidates into Virginia and will cover the cost of obtaining the VA bar (one-time sponsorship) if needed
The annual salary for this position is between $225,000 – $400,000 annually (cravath scale). Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
