Qualifications

J.D. from ABA-accredited law school is required.
Active license to practice law in state posted is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in practice group.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Professional demeanor with strong client-relations and communication skills.
Must be responsive and organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
Extensive legal research and drafting of briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
Representing clients in court, at arbitrations and in depositions.
Drafting and responding to discovery requests.
Expert witness retention and collaboration.
Trial preparation and attendance.
Collaborate with partners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver strategic legal advice.
Manage deadlines and assignments with ownership and independence.
