Job summary

Chartwell Law seeks an Associate attorney to manage a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, providing strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions. The role requires exceptional research, drafting, and litigation skills, with the ability to collaborate with partners and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in a posting state (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a practice group.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• File review and legal analysis of claims and causes of action.
• Extensive legal research and drafting of substantial briefs, memos, pleadings, and appellate briefs.
• Representing clients in court, arbitrations, and depositions.
• Drafting and responding to discovery requests.
• Expert witness retention and collaboration.
• Trial preparation and attendance.
• Collaborate with partners, clients, and stakeholders to deliver strategic legal advice.
• Manage deadlines and assignments with ownership and independence.
