Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a Litigation Associate in Warren, NJ to handle general litigation matters, including contract disputes, real estate, and fraud cases. The role emphasizes independent case development, client interaction, and strategy, with a 1,400-hour billable target to balance professional growth and personal life.

The attorney will work on assignments from partners, draft and argue motions, and participate in depositions and discovery as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• JD Degree and admission in NJ.
• Civil Clerkship.
• 4+ years of litigation experience.
• Ability to independently manage a civil litigation matter from consultation to resolution.
• Excellent client communication skills with empathy for client situations.
• Ability to manage client expectations.
• A positive attitude and independence to manage their own day.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Perform and attend depositions.
• Prepare, produce, and review discovery demands.
• Prepare and deliver oral arguments.
• Develop case strategy.
• Attend trials, hearings, arbitration, and mediation.
