Location: San Francisco, CA or Boston, MA

Salary: $160,000-$220,000+ | Discretionary Bonus

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 Days In-Office

About the Opportunity

We are representing a highly regarded US litigation firm seeking an accomplished Litigation Associate to join its sophisticated securities litigation practice in San Francisco or Boston.

This opportunity is particularly suited to attorneys with experience in securities litigation or highly complex class action disputes, gained at a leading plaintiff-side or defense-side litigation firm.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced litigators on sophisticated, high-stakes matters involving complex legal issues, substantial discovery and strategic litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle sophisticated securities and complex class action litigation matters.
• Conduct advanced legal research and draft substantive motions, briefs and legal memoranda.
• Analyze complex factual records, financial information and supporting evidence.
• Assist with litigation strategy, discovery, depositions and case preparation.
• Collaborate with senior litigators on significant, high-value disputes.
• Contribute to the development of legal theories and litigation strategy.

Candidate Requirements

• 4+ years of substantial litigation experience at a respected law firm.
• Securities litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates without direct securities experience must demonstrate significant experience in highly complex class action litigation.
• Strong academic credentials and experience at a highly regarded litigation firm.
• Exceptional legal research, analytical and writing abilities.
• Experience handling sophisticated disputes involving complex legal and factual issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a demanding, high-caliber litigation environment.
• Willingness to work three days per week in the San Francisco or Boston office.
