Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Brandon, FL seeks an Associate Attorney with strong probate and trust litigation experience to join our litigation team. You will work closely with senior attorneys from intake through resolution, including motions, hearings, and trials.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, is admitted to the Florida Bar, and has 1–3 years of litigation experience. Excellent research, writing, and client-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 1–3 years of litigation experience required.
• Probate/Estate experience preferred but not required.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in probate, trust, and estate litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda.
• Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
• Advise clients on legal rights and strategies while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage case files and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys to ensure client needs are met.
• Manage the quality and output of paralegals assigned to your team.
• Participate in firm-building initiatives, trainings, and team meetings.
