Vogrinc Search Group's client, a nationally recognized management-side labor and employment law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join its Employment Litigation Practice Group. Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience.
• 9+ years for Of Counsel track with first-chair capabilities.
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour.
• Experience representing employers in court, arbitrations, mediations, and admin agency matters.
• Class Action and/or PAGA experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws.
• Ability to manage litigation from inception through resolution.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy; attention to detail and client service.
• Strong organizational, time-management and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to professionalism, collaboration and teamwork.
• Prior large law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in broad employment litigation matters and agency proceedings.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Represent employers before state and federal administrative agencies.
• Advise and counsel employers on employment law compliance and workplace issues.
• Conduct management training on employment topics.
• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment torts, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class or representative actions.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas to provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel to clients.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced employment litigator to work remotely while handling sophisticated employment matters for employers across a broad range of industries. Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate level consideration)
• Attorneys seeking Of Counsel consideration should possess 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and demonstrated first-chair litigation capabilities
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related workplace claims
• Experience representing employers in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agency matters
• Class Action and/or PAGA experience preferred, but not required

• Competitive Salary: $120,000 – $216,000+, commensurate with experience, level, and geographic location.
