Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate).
• Of Counsel candidates should have 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and first-chair capabilities.
• Experience defending employers in employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage/hour claims.
• Experience representing employers in court, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
• Class Action and/or PAGA experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and procedures.
• Ability to independently manage litigation from inception to resolution.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Attention to detail and client-service focus.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to professionalism and collaboration.
• Prior large law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedings.
• Handle all aspects of litigation: strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, mediations, arbitrations, trial prep.
• Represent employers before state and federal agencies.
• Advise on employment law compliance and workplace issues.
• Conduct management training on employment and labor topics.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, wage/hour disputes, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class/representative actions.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced employment litigator to work remotely while handling sophisticated employment matters for employers across a broad range of industries. Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing

• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment torts, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class or representative actions
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas to provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel to clients

• Competitive Salary: $120,000 – $216,000+, commensurate with experience, level, and geographic location.
