Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Las Vegas, NV office for a Litigation Associate with four to six years of experience. This position offers substantial responsibility and the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex commercial litigation, receivership, bankruptcy‑related litigation, and financial restructuring matters. The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys across the Litigation and Financial Restructuring & Bankruptcy departments while handling sophisticated matters for a diverse client base. We are seeking a motivated attorney who is prepared to immediately assume a meaningful role in case management, client service, and litigation strategy. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills required.
• Strong experience managing discovery, drafting pleadings, motions, and other litigation‑related filings.
• Experience working on complex commercial litigation matters; experience with bankruptcy‑related litigation, receiverships, or creditors’ rights matters is a plus.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and handling substantive litigation responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions.
• Trial experience a plus but not required.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

Compensation & Benefits

• The salary range for this position applies to Nevada. The salary range reflects a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is $210,000 - $240,000.
