You will analyze case files, develop case strategies, communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, participate in depositions and hearings, and assist with trial preparation and appellate work.

Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Virginia bar admission or eligibility.
• Experience or interest in insurance defense, civil litigation.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Effective legal writing and drafting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication with clients, courts, and colleagues.
• Commitment to ethical practice and sound judgment.
• Prior clerkship or internship in litigation preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other court filings.
• Analyze case files, evaluate liability and damages, and develop case strategies under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel; participate in depositions and hearings as appropriate.
• Support trial preparation and appellate work; coordinate with colleagues and staff to meet deadlines.
