Sinars Slowikowski in Chicago and St. Louis is seeking Associate Attorneys to handle local and national accounts across multiple jurisdictions. This hands-on role requires strong case management, precise legal writing, and readiness for depositions and hearings.

Candidates must have a Juris Doctor, 1–5 years of litigation experience, and be admitted in Illinois (secondary admissions preferred). The position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice in Illinois; secondary admissions to Missouri, Michigan, Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, or Texas preferred.
• Experience with motion practice and depositions.
• Lead experience in plaintiff and expert depositions preferred.
• Capable of independent work and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Review, analyze, and draft discovery requests.
• Conduct depositions.
• Prepare and argue motions.
• Provide trial preparation and support.
• Investigate facts.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Attend court hearings and trials.
• Maintain accurate time records.
