Qualifications

• California Bar in good standing required.
• 3+ years of complex civil litigation experience.
• Experience with environmental, toxic tort, commercial, and/or construction litigation preferred.
• Deposition, discovery, motion practice, and case management experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Take and defend depositions and manage all phases of discovery.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and adjudication.
• Attend court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Work directly with clients and develop litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on environmental, toxic tort, commercial, and construction disputes.
