Qualifications

• 4–6 years of substantive complex commercial litigation experience in a respected law firm.
• J.D. from an accredited law school with a distinguished academic record.
• Active license to practice law in good standing in any U.S. jurisdiction; NC license within one year.
• Judicial clerkship, large law firm tenure, or prior professional career preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct all phases of the litigation lifecycle from pre‑suit to trial.
• Drive case architecture, discovery, and strategy; manage the litigation roadmap.
• First‑chair deposition, evidentiary hearings, and oral arguments when warranted.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs with advanced legal research.
• Supervise complex written discovery and document productions.
• Prepare for trial and arbitration with notebooks, motions in limine, and expert disclosure vetting.
• Advise executives on risk, status, and exposure; collaborate with other practice groups.
