Job description

Downtown A-V rated law firm immediately seeks civil litigation associate attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience on a contract basis. Candidates with public entity and affordable housing law a plus.

Individuals that qualify as federal Section 3 individual occupants of Public Housing or recipients of Housing Choice Vouchers or earning at or below 80% of Area Median Income are encouraged to apply (but not required).

Requirements:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in California.
  • Must have at least 2 -5 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Court experience including law and motion, discovery motions, deposition experience, trial work, including both bench trials and jury trials desired.
  • Experience drafting pleadings, and other work associated with the practice of civil litigation under very minimal supervision.
  • Excellent research and writing skills.
  • Real Estate transaction experience desired.
  • Affordable Housing and public entity law desired.

Compensation:

Contract compensation based on experience with an estimated hourly rate of $90 - $125/per hour.
