Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in insurance defense, preferably construction defect litigation.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent thinker with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis.
• Managing all aspects of assigned cases.
• Taking and attending depositions.
• Attending hearings.
• Participating in site inspections and mediations.
• Preparing for and attending trials.
• Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
• Collaborating with Partners and other members of the litigation team.
