Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking an Associate Litigation Attorney in Palos Verdes Estates, CA. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 or more years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense, and will join a dynamic team handling complex civil litigation and insurance matters.

The role involves conducting research, drafting pleadings and motions, taking and defending depositions, and collaborating with partners on strategy and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California State Bar in good standing or pending admission.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and memoranda.
• Appear in court for law and motion hearings and case management conferences.
• Take and defend depositions, commensurate with experience.
• Analyze cases and assist in developing litigation strategy.
• Participate in trial preparation and trial.
